Position Overview: Profession: Physician Specialty: Neurology Location: Near Ordinary, VA Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Coverage Type: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Practice Setting: Office / Ambulatory Clinic Call Requirements: No Call Key Responsibilities: Shift Details: Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM No call requirements, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule Patient Care: 100% outpatient coverage, providing care to patients with various neurological conditions Manage an average of 12-16 patients per day in a clinic setting Work collaboratively with a team of 11 physicians and 10 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) Support Staff: Supported by a skilled team including 1 RN, 4 LPNs, and 1 MA Access to onsite labs and advanced office equipment including EMG and Doppler EMR System: Epic, ensuring streamlined documentation and patient management Certification & Licensure Requirements: Board Certification: Must be board-certified in Neurology State License: Active Virginia medical license highly preferred, must be obtained by the time of credentialing Additional Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required Vaccination Requirements: Flu vaccine required at the time of credentialing COVID-19 vaccine highly preferred Why This Opportunity?
