Job Description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Responsible for ensuring the covered employers operating within the exterior boundaries of the Wind River Reservation are in compliance and enforcing Indian preference requirements as specified in the TERO Ordinance, Title X of the Law and Order Code.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Onsite inspections for active projects oil and gas fields within the exterior boundaries on the Wind River Reservation.
  • Make sure all companies operating within the Wind River Reservation are registered with the Wind River TERO and required Native hire is achieved through the referral systems.
  • Work Permit card validation of registered company personnel, Native or non-Native. Compliance review of Annual Agreements, Temporary Work Permits, Vendor and Native owned service providers.
  • Attends Pre-Construction meetings.
  • Assisting in the yearly update of business Licenses.
  • Greets and assists anyone who comes into the office daily.
  • Answers phone calls and executes any task that may come with calls and requests.
  • Searches daily for job opportunities on and off the Wind River Reservation.
  • Register, screen and update new and return applicants.
  • Communication with companies regarding business license, compliance plans and employment.

  • Communication with applicants regarding job opportunities, training, etc.

0 Scanning relevant compliance files, importing and exporting files when needed.

  • Referral activity tracking and reporting referrals and hires for each month and quarter.
  • Data collection and reporting referrals and hire for each month and quarter.
  • Update the XTIRI online data daily.
  • Any other duties/tasks assigned by the Sr. Compliance Officer.

REQUIREMENT:

  • Must have Computer knowledge and skills.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Must have a valid Driver License.
  • Must have a clean MVR.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
